Ambrosia is a band that some people love and some people laugh at. Some only know the songs YOU'RE THE ONLY WOMAN, HOW MUCH I FEEL etc. You know, that smooth mellow bordom that dominates the easy listening stations.
But Ambrosia started out as a progressive band.
AMBROSIA-Self titled debut album
This album is full
of that mid seventies progressive flavor. It's simply a good rock album.
Sure it has some of the mellow elements that Ambrosia was later known
for but it does it with progressive style. Excellent recitation of THE
JABBERWOCKY from Lewis Carol's Alice Thru the Looking Glass.

The second Ambrosia
album. Not as good as the first but still a decent outing. After this
album they went a lot more pop. There were some good points to Life
beyond LA however.
