TORMATO: 1978-Anderson, Squire, Wakeman, Howe, White

The band goes into kaos and the album reflects the period. Although it produced some great songs (SILENT WINGS OF FREEDOM, FUTURE TIMES) And a great tour their self produced TORMATO was definately off the mark. Some fans love the album and I don't blame them. Personally I like the album, and love a couple of songs. I didn't really like the sounds Wakeman was choosing on the Keys but Squires harmonized Rickenbacker bass was great.

Remastered with Bonus tracks !!

DRAMA:1980-Squire, Howe, White, Horn, Downes
WHAT THE HELL....A YES ALBUM WITHOUT JON ANDERSON???
I have to say that I love DRAMA. It has some weak points but it's powerful and very original. Trevor Horn had a little trouble singing some of the classics on tour but the songs they played on the tour that were never released (WE CAN FLY FROM HERE-mp3 and GO THRU THIS-mp3) were wonderful. I wish they would play some of this album in concert now, perhaps MACHINE MESSIAH.
Remastered with Bonus tracks !!

YESSHOWS: 1979-Anderson, Squire, Moraz, Wakeman, Howe, White

Another live retrospective like YESSONGS but it needed the third lp. As a 2 lp it ended up laking songs like AWAKEN and SILENT WINGS OF FREEDOM. It's a good album for the die hard fan who likes live shows. GATES OF DELIRIUM is great live.

CLASSIC YES: 1981-Anderson, Squire, Bruford, Wakeman, Howe, Kaye

A retrospective of the CLASSIC ERA of YES. If you own what you like from the YES collection then there is no reason to pick this one up unless you want the live versions of ROUNDABOUT and ALL GOOD PEOPLE which were originally on a 45 that came with the lp but are included on the cd.
