Wildest
Dreams Ok, They went over to Atlantic Records and went a little pop. They also became a three piece band (vocalist Sadler, Guitarist Crichton, bassist Crichton) with Drummer Steve Negus and Keyboardist Jim Gilmour temporarily absent. The new addition was Synthax, a strange guitar like thing that is probably more interesting to play than listen to. The album has some good tracks. Dont Look Down is one of my favorites. |

A Beginners Guide to Throwing Shapes. Still
just the three of them but what an improvement. This is quite a good album
but it gets tired easily. Can't play it all the time. The sound is very
DRY. |

Security of Illusion The Band returns
to a 5 peice and returns to form with this great rock album.. It has everything
a Saga album should have. All the feeling and playing you could want.
Mind over Matter, the second track, is just
one example of what a good album this is. |

Steel Umbrellas I don't know what
happend. Great line up and really weak album. Probably my least favorite
in the Saga discography. There are probably 3 cuts that do it for me NEVER
ALONE, THIN ICE and I WALK WITH YOU.If you like saga, I would pass, if
you love saga then you have to have it. |
