Ronnie Montrose

Banks, Rutherford, Gabriel, Hackett, Collins

If I had to pick the best genesis albums they are all on this page. I would also include and then there were three as it is a favorite as well. "Selling" is a great album and is a must for the Gabriel years and includes such greats as DANCING WITH THE MOONLIT KNIGHT and I KNOW WHAT I LIKE and CINEMA SHOW.

Banks, Rutherford, Gabriel, Hackett, Collins

The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway is to Genesis as The Wall is to Pink Floyd and Quadrophenia and Tommy are to the Who, It is a masterpiece but only for the true Genesis fan.

Banks, Rutherford, Hackett, Collins

A Trick of the Tail, When Peter Gabriel left Genesis Phil Collins stepped out from behind the drums and sang. Long before going "pop" this album is a crafty set of progressive and enjoyable tunes. A must for the Genesis collector

Banks, Rutherford, Hackett, Collins

a more progressive album than 'trick' with longer songs. Steve Hackets tune PLEASE DON'T TOUCH was turned down by the group for the album but this album is filled with Hackett / Banks / Rutherford compositions.

Banks, Rutherford, Hackett, Collins with Chester Thompson and Bill Bruford on Drums.

One of the greatest live albums ever. Even without gabriel. This was my first genesis album and that may be why I love it so much. Suppers ready is great as is firth of fifth and Los Endos. I put it up there with the who's live at leeds and yessongs.
